Our respiratory therapists evaluate and treat a variety of disorders including asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis and atelectasis (collapsed tiny lung airways) for patients of all ages, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Pulmonary Function Testing is used to evaluate the extent of lung disease. It is used to determine treatment options which may include inhaler or nebulizer therapy (opens the airways) and/or other options. These tests are evaluated by a specialist and the report is forwarded to your doctor.
